The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnostics servicing and repair of a diverse range of vehicles and equipment ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic testing and accurately identify faults
Repair and replace diesel engines transmissions steering braking and lighting systems
Perform preventative maintenance on light vehicles prime movers and agricultural equipment including cotton pickers
Carry out test drives to ensure safety and performance
Maintain accurate service logs records and parts inventory
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain workshop standards
Requirements
Trade qualifications in Mechanical Automotive or Heavy Vehicle Engineering
Solid experience in diesel diagnostics servicing and repair
Strong IT and problem-solving skills with the ability to self-diagnose faults
Physically fit with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Valid drivers license
