Job Summary
Your Role in the Story
As our Assistant Cluster Chief Engineer youll play a key role in bringing two distinctive LUURA hotels to life and keeping them running at their best. Youll support in ensuring every space from ocean-view suites to vibrant beach clubs operates seamlessly and meets our high standards for craftsmanship comfort and safety.
This role combines hands-on technical expertise with a passion for innovation and hospitality helping deliver flawless operations while shaping the atmosphere that makes LUURA unforgettable.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Tasks
- Support the Cluster Chief Engineer in developing and executing the opening plan for Paros Cliff and Paros Sand including installation commissioning and system handovers.
- Assist in monitoring project progress identifying construction or quality issues and ensuring compliance with technical standards and brand expectations.
- Help establish preventative maintenance schedules asset registers and work-order systems from day one.
- Ensure documentation manuals and warranties are complete organized and accessible at handover.
- Support the commissioning and certification of life safety HVAC plumbing and energy systems.
- Participate in recruiting onboarding and training the engineering team for both hotels ensuring alignment with LUURA brand standards and safety practices.
Ongoing Operations
- Perform and supervise maintenance and repair tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in managing engineering budgets tracking expenditures and preparing reports on maintenance and utilities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety fire and environmental regulations and support regular audits and emergency drills.
- Coach and motivate team members promoting a culture of responsibility collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to energy-saving and sustainability initiatives to reduce operational impact.
- Engage with guests when needed demonstrating professionalism and service awareness in all interactions.
Qualifications :
Who Were Looking For
- 35 years of experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer Engineering Supervisor or similar role ideally in luxury hotels or openings.
- Strong technical knowledge across electrical mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Experience managing maintenance operations or supporting multi-property environments.
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on proactive and calm under pressure
- Excited to work in a fast-moving people-first environment.
