Overview of the Role:

Were seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator I to join our dynamic team at one of the nations leading clean energy companies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects across renewable energy transmission infrastructure and emerging technologies while developing expertise in conceptual engineering and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed project cost estimates for renewable energy and infrastructure projects
Perform conceptual engineering design and develop preliminary construction plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze project specifications and documentation
Conduct value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
Develop and maintain estimation tools databases and methodologies
Present cost estimates to senior management and stakeholders
Track project costs and variances throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or related field
Minimum 2 years of project estimating experience with conceptual engineering focus
Experience in utility-scale energy projects and renewable energy sectors
Proficiency in value engineering principles and construction methods
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills particularly Excel
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
