The school

The appointed Nursery Teacher will be responsible for the learning and development of children aged 34 in a well-resourced nursery environment. The Nursery Teacher will lead a team of skilled early years practitioners and ensure the nurserys provision is nurturing inclusive and ambitious.
What the Nursery Teacher will do
- As the Nursery Teacher you will plan a stimulating curriculum and maintain excellent records of childrens progress as the Nursery Teacher.
- The Nursery Teacher will lead high-impact interactions support language development and model best practice for the team as the Nursery Teacher.
- The Nursery Teacher will liaise with families to support early learning and will run transition work into Reception in the weeks around January 2026. The Nursery Teacher will also shadow parent meetings and contribute to staff CPD.
Nursery Teacher candidate profile
- Qualified as a Nursery Teacher (QTS/EYTS where applicable) with nursery experience.
- A reflective Nursery Teacher with strong communication and classroom leadership.
- Passionate about early social and emotional development as a Nursery Teacher.
Practical & start details
This Full-Time Nursery Teacher post begins January 2026. The school will provide induction in the fortnight before January 2026 ensuring the Nursery Teacher is classroom-ready when children return in January 2026. The Full-Time Nursery Teacher will be supported with planning time in-service training and a robust staff network.
