The appointed candidate will teach Music across KS3KS5 nurturing students musical appreciation creativity and performance confidence. The schools induction programme offers structured mentoring observation opportunities and access to subject-specific CPD designed to support ECTs in developing strong classroom practice and professional confidence.
The post holder will contribute to both the classroom and the wider life of the school by leading ensembles choirs or music clubs and helping coordinate the annual concerts and productions that form part of the schools performing arts calendar.
Teach engaging Music lessons that combine theory performance and composition.
Use technology effectively for notation recording and mixing.
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level practical assessments.
Direct or accompany school choirs bands or instrumental groups.
Participate in the planning of school concerts recitals and musical theatre events.
Engage in CPD and reflective practice as part of the ECT induction.

Music degree and PGCE/PGDE with QTS.
