About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Providence/Albion Rhode Island. This role involves performing break-fix support installations troubleshooting and upgrades for computer-related equipment including desktops laptops printers and networking devices.

Candidates with 1 2 years of technical experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform break-fix installation and diagnostic services for desktop & laptop computers printers and peripheral devices.
  • Support software and hardware troubleshooting re-imaging and system upgrades.
  • Execute installs moves adds and changes (IMAC) as required by clients.
  • Test and verify PCs networks and client-approved applications to ensure full functionality.
  • Provide follow-up on unresolved issues and escalate as needed for resolution.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism in interactions communication and appearance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery process.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required; an associate degree or certification in IT is preferred.
  • 1 2 years of technical experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong work ethics may be considered.
  • Experience supporting Windows 7 and newer operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Lenovo Apple and printer hardware.
  • Experience in network troubleshooting and basic software installations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • PC/Laptop Break-Fix experience
  • Troubleshooting and software installation experience
  • Knowledge of Networking basics and printer connectivity
  • Experience using Lenovo hardware or Apple devices
