Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of fitters welders and helpers on-site or in the workshop.
Plan allocate and monitor daily tasks and work schedules to meet project targets.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with HSE policies permit-to-work systems and site safety rules.
Review and interpret drawings fabrication sketches and work instructions with the team.
Inspect and approve fit-up alignment and weld preparation prior to welding.
Coordinate with QC inspectors engineers and project managers for quality control and progress reporting.
Maintain daily work reports manpower records and progress charts.
Provide guidance coaching and training to team members for skill development and productivity improvement.
