Overview:
Our client a leading company in the agro-engineering and agricultural infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead its sales operations across local and global markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand market presence drive revenue growth and strengthen relationships with distributors contractors and agricultural clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets in local and international markets.
- Lead mentor and motivate the sales team to ensure consistent performance and achievement of sales goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across global markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients distributors and business partners.
- Oversee contract negotiations pricing strategies and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing technical and production teams to ensure alignment between sales strategy and operational capabilities.
- Analyze market trends competitors and customer needs to guide strategic decision-making.
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts budgets and performance reports for senior management.
- Represent the company at exhibitions trade fairs and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Agricultural Engineering or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience including 5 years in a leadership role within the agricultural irrigation or related sectors.
- Proven track record in managing both domestic and export sales.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (French is an advantage).
- Strong leadership strategic thinking and business development skills.
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region and internationally.
