Job Summary
Cyber Security Consulting Director
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consulting Director to lead client engagements shape strategic security programmes and build high-performing consulting teams. This individual will drive the growth and delivery of our cyber consulting practice combining technical insight commercial acumen and outstanding leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading complex cyber security initiatives advising senior stakeholders and developing trusted relationships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the cyber consulting strategy in alignment with organisational goals.
Lead the development of new service offerings and market propositions.
Represent the business at client industry and executive levels as a trusted advisor.
Client Engagement
Lead large-scale cyber transformation programmes across multiple sectors.
Advise boards CISOs and executive teams on risk management resilience and regulatory compliance.
Ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction across all consulting engagements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Build mentor and inspire multidisciplinary consulting teams.
Foster a collaborative culture that values diversity inclusion and shared success.
Encourage continuous learning innovation and professional development within the team.
Partner with internal stakeholders (technical sales and delivery teams) to drive cohesive outcomes.
Commercial Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities partnerships and strategic accounts.
Support proposal development thought leadership and go-to-market initiatives.
Contribute to revenue growth and profitability targets.
Skills & Experience
10 years of experience in cyber security consulting with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
Deep understanding of cyber risk governance security operations and emerging technologies.
Strong track record in managing large complex client engagements.
Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing consulting teams.
Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience across regulated sectors (finance critical infrastructure government etc.) desirable.
Relevant certifications (CISSP CISM ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or equivalent) preferred.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Proven work experience as a cyber security professional. Sales Coordinator or any other similar role. Hands-on experience with any CRM tools. Experience in managing complex solutions. Organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude. Degree level or relevant experience.
