Job Summary:

This role is required initially to take leadership in building the brand strategy/plan for an innovative product in the therapeutic area of paediatric neuroscience to maximize product value through its lifecycle making a significant impact on the products success and market presence. After onboarding the product the incumbent will continue to ensure to manage the product whilst working on other marketing authorization transfers or product launches. The incumbent will also contribute to maintaining Clinigens competitive advantage as a pharmaceutical services company helping as many patients as possible

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product brand strategies and marketing plans and documentation for MR playbooks to ensure that the salesforce supports business goals and increases market visibility of the brand/product.
  • Create and update product sales forecasts and targets through deep marketing insights and solid analytical thinking.
  • Lead omnichannel marketing campaigns across digital print and physical/online events to engage target HCPs to achieve sales targets in accordance with the marketing plan.
  • Ensure Clinigen KK product sales working closely with SCM staff and business partners to ensure a robust commercial supply plan and finished-goods inventory that meet patient demand and financial targets.
  • Work closely with other members of the Commercial team to understand future sales and demand forecasts in terms of product management; liaise with SCM staff to understand safety stock requirements across the full range of product SKUs for stable supply to patients.
  • Enhance brand positioning and maintain consistent messaging across all marketing materials.
  • Track and analyse marketing performance to improve strategies and maximize results.
  • Analyse and report on brand performance to determine ROI.
  • Partner with cross-functional team members in the development and execution of the Medical Affairs and promotional programs.
  • Establish and manage regular contacts with key opinion leaders.
  • Develop regional congress plans and execute those plans as product manager.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other expansion markets and licensors as needed on joint projects.

About You:

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Understanding of ethics and compliance regulations for marketing of pharmaceutical products in Japan.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product/brand marketing commercial excellence business analytics or management consulting in pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent communication ability with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Full native fluency in Japanese: Reading Writing Listening and Speaking.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience of several new product launches or marketing authorisation transfers in the pharmaceutical sector
  • Experience of sales and marketing in therapeutic areas such as paediatrics or neuroscience
  • Willingness to work in and learn other therapeutic areas
  • English: Business level
