This role supports a Navy customer in Dahlgren VA.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Program Managers are concerned with the overall planning direction and success of major programs systems development efforts and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activitys and agencys needs. Programs are typically large multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks. Program Managers are also responsible for the overall program definition organization and direction of short and long range plans. This includes the responsibility for formulating guiding and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources. Establishment and control of technical milestones schedules budgets and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.

Basic Requirements:Ten (10) years of professional management experience with at least five (5) years in the Department of Defense (DoD) or Navy Information Technology (IT) systems.

Proven ability to lead and direct challenging projects and execute assignments independently.

Have demonstrated experience providing administrative oversight corporate management and ability to provide overall technical schedule and cost direction. Information Technology (IT) related subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the PWS.

Clearance: Secret with ability to obtain up to Top Secret (US citizenship required))

Education Requirements:Bachelors level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.

Certification Requirements:Security CE CySA GSEC GICSP or CCNA-Securityrequired
