In this role you will be responsible for coordinating delivering and assessing quality compliant and engaging training that addresses the needs of the participant and the business. Some work will be conducted out of normal working hours.

You will:

  • Facilitate training as required to a high standard to ensure all staff are provided with the optimum opportunity to learn.
  • Work with managers and staff to create a learning/development plan that is relevant and specific.
  • Work with managers and staff to identify on an off the job training opportunities that will assist them to achieve operational goals and requirements.

Were looking for someone who is:

  • A NZQA qualified assessor
  • Has at least 15 years experience within a contracting environment
  • Proficient across Microsoft suites with strong general computer skills
  • Holds a current Full Class 4 Driver Licence with WTR endorsement (preferably class 5 with WTR endorsement)
  • Conversant with all types of construction machinery from 1.5tn to 50tn
  • Experienced with trucks and trailers (including HPMV)
  • Possess background knowledge and experience of construction techniques
  • Skilled in the use of small hand tools (chainsaws etc) would be an advantage
