Job Summary
The Department of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine seeks an outstanding candidate for a full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Academic Clinician track for our Division of Gynecologic Specialties. Consultative gynecologic hospital care and gynecology call coverage is shared among members of the division; inpatient obstetric coverage is not included. The current clinical coverage area is Bridgeport Hospital.
The candidate must have demonstrated excellence in the delivery of patient-centered equitable comprehensive clinical care and possess excellent complex pelvic surgery skills. The applicant is required to be Board certified/eligible in general obstetrics and gynecology. The successful applicant will have a commitment to and aptitude for teaching medical students residents and fellows in both obstetrics and gynecology. Minimally invasive surgery fellowship is not a prerequisite but would be the focus of this position is pelvic surgery the applicant should be able to provide comprehensive ambulatory obstetrics and gynecology care.
