Job Summary
The Teacher Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialist provides students with appropriate learning experiences and activities designed to help them in social intellectual and emotional growth. The Teacher Orientation and Mobility enable students to develop competencies and skills to function in a successful and positive manner and teach students with visual impairments to safely and independently navigate their Requirements: Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulationsMinimum of one year experience in learning environment preferredComplies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
