About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelors Degree in engineering (Civil Mechanical Naval architecture or Marine) as minimum.
  • More than 10 years of experience with a minimum of 7 years direct offshore pipeline and subsea design experience.
  • Competent in subsea pipeline design having knowledge in hydrodynamics Vortex Induced Vibrations etc.
  • Competent in use of relevant codes and software pertaining to Pipeline design.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A good team player. Self-motivated with a drive for results improvement and innovation.

The Role

As a Marine Pipelines Engineer with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for engineering tasks and perform associated calculations:
    • Pipeline mechanical design based on oil & gas standards (API ASME DNV etc) including Wall thickness calculation Pipeline expansion analysis Cathodic protection design Crossing analyses etc)
    • Detailed Non-Linear FE analyses (Lateral / Up-heavel buckling analysis Free span assessment On-bottom stability analysis On-Bottom Roughness analysis)
    • Write and check calculation notes Analysis reports Specification of Pipeline Components/ Materials
  • Ensure Interface with the Client
  • Supervise and coordinate with Engineers and draughts men

    Job Profile:
  • Scope of services for subsea pipeline activities:
    • Pre-FEED and FEED studies
    • Subsea Pipeline Risers & Flowline detailed engineering packages
    • Independent design verification analysis
    • Expertise and Analysis for installation of pipelines risers and subsea equipment.
