Job Summary
Position: Senior Surety Underwriter OR Surety Underwriter
Location: Frankfurt am Main / Germany
Report to: Head of Surety - Germany

We offer you an exciting challenge in our growing team in the Surety department in Frankfurt.
Key Responsibilities:
We offer comprehensive portfolio responsibility for the assigned customer base and depending on your preferences we seek support in acquiring new customers in German-speaking countries
This includes the continuous development and maintenance of relationships with our strong broker base
the performance of credit risk analyses and the development of exposure strategies for customers and prospects offers you the opportunity to work independently in conducting all discussions and negotiations of contract documentation with brokers and clients
you are responsible for reviewing and approving applications for guarantee frameworks and surety bonds as well as coordinating guarantee texts.
As a creative force you will be committed to expanding cooperation with other international TM HCC surety insurance teams.
Skills And Competencies Required:
degree in economics or a comparable university degree or commercial training in the insurance industry or as a banker
We require extensive experience in credit assessment (underwriting) at surety insurance companies banks or leasing companies with commercial customers. You have in-depth knowledge of financial analysis and credit assessment of companies
You impress with your strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking your structured approach your confident manner and your strong communication skills
You are characterized by a high level of commitment team spirit initiative and a focus on performance and results
