Your Role: Lead Growth. Build Relationships. Deliver Impact
As Director of Consulting Services (DCS) youll lead the growth of CGIs presence across Atlantic Metro and Nova Scotia building trusted relationships with senior public and private sector leaders.
Youll help clients modernize transform and grow through technology from cloud and AI to enterprise modernization and digital experience while leading a high-performing consulting team that shares your passion for delivering measurable outcomes. This is an onsite position based in Halifax NS.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Strategic Advisory
Serve as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact for key client accounts.
Understand each clients mission challenges and industry to design solutions that create business value.
Partner with C-suite and executive leaders to translate strategy into action through technology and consulting engagements.
Business Development & Growth
Own the growth strategy for the region identifying pursuing and closing new business opportunities.
Shape and lead proposals client presentations and contract negotiations.
Collaborate across CGI practices to bring forward innovative solutions and expand our footprint in key markets.
Engagement Oversight & Delivery Excellence
Oversee delivery of large complex consulting and technology programs.
Partner with project leaders and delivery teams to ensure engagements are on time within scope and achieving measurable impact.
Proactively manage client expectations and address delivery issues to ensure long-term satisfaction.
Ensure engagements meet contractual regulatory and security standards.
Guide clients through governance operating model and risk-mitigation strategies that build long-term resilience.
Team Leadership & Enablement
Lead and inspire a team of multi-disciplinary consultants.
Mentor future leaders support career growth and foster a culture of accountability inclusion and performance.
Build team cohesion through shared success coaching and client impact stories.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
10 years in IT consulting including 5 in a leadership capacity.
A proven track record of building client trust growing accounts and delivering impactful solutions.
A strong network within Nova Scotias public and private sectors.
Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills.
Entrepreneurial energetic and motivated by achieving results.
Proficiency with CRM tools and experience managing full sales lifecycles.
Degree in Business Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in management consulting project delivery or technology strategy (AI data digital) considered an asset.
Willingness to travel within Atlantic Canada (approx. 10%)
