Network Engineer (TSSCI + Poly)

The DarkStar Group a GRVTY Company is seeking a Network Engineer with a TS/SCI Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Dulles VA. Below is an overview of the project as well as information on our company and our benefits.

THE PROGRAM

The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. Weve been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. The Role

• The Network Engineer Is responsible for developing engineering and deploying technical solutions within a community wide dedicated network. This individual will work within a small focused team of network and systems engineers to implement technical solutions addressing challenging collaboration and data protection problems.

• This Network Engineer performs the following core functions:
• Develop Datacenter LAN WAN and Client Access networks/systems
• Integrate Test and deploy systems
• Perform full lifecycle management of network systems (building deploying maintaining)
• Monitor networks

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations determine course of action and act promptly and effectively when problems arise.
• Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well on collaborative teams.
• Maintain appropriate technical training to ensure skills are kept current with evolving technology
• Performs other duties as assigned at the direction of Project Management

• Ability to travel on an infrequent but as needed basis primarily CON US
• Recent (within the last 3 years) hands-on experience with Cisco Datacenter WAN LAN Client Access technologies such as MACsec HSRP VRF VPC ACLs BGP EIGRP
• Recent (within the last 3 years) hands-on experience with IOS-XE NX-OS Linux
• Recent (within the last 3 years) hands-on experience with customer specific transport networks
• Recent (within the last 3 years) hands-on experience with Firewalls and VPN Concentrators (FTD and ASA)
• Recent (within the last 3 years) hands-on experience with Network and Application load balancers
• Hands-on experience implementing customer IT and Cyber Security best practices
• Recent (within the last 3 years) experience managing and delivering engineering projects i.e. designing building deploying
• Recent (within the last 3 years) experience with provisioning and management of a variety of network devices
• Hands-on experience with collaboration and ticketing tools
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms
• Demonstrated understanding of high availability technologies and implantation/deployment concepts

• Experience designing building deploying and maintaining sensitive networks.
• Experience building deploying maintaining Application Load Balancers
• Experience building deploying maintaining Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) networks
• Experience building deploying maintaining Cisco ASAs via Firepower Management
• Experience building deploying maintaining Nutanix
• Experience building deploying maintaining Palo Alto Firewalls via Panorama
• Experience building deploying maintaining Citrix Application Delivery Controllers
• Hands-on experience with modern server operating systems and virtualization technologies
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash Powershell python etc.
• Experience with SIEM and security analytical technologies (e.g. Splunk pcap Netflow Solarwinds etc.)
