Job Summary
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a 42-year-old male who requires assistance with personal care. He is upbeat enjoys socializing with people in his community and has a special interest in police officers and security guards. He loves to smile and brings positive energy to those around him. Responsibilities include personal care ensuring his safety at all times creating a supportive and enjoyable environment and performing light housekeeping to help maintain a clean and comfortable living space. Ifyoure patient attentive and committed to providing quality care wed love to hear from you.
This is an independent contract position and pays$15.25 per hour
Schedule:Mon Wed Fri and (possibly Sat) from 6pm - 8pm
You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you:

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Supporting with personal hygiene
- Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
- Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have proof of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
