About the Opportunity
This is an exciting new opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic Community Development and Youth Services Team. This role is responsible forleading and supporting the implementation of Councils Vichealth Food systems grant. This will include coordinating internal and external stakeholder relationships supporting the delivery of key partner-led food strategies and drive initiatives that strengthen the built natural social and economic environments that foster healthy eating and wellbeing.
This role includes delivering high-quality and consistent standards of customer service and collaboration maintaining strong partnerships with community groups and service providers.

This role is a Temporary (3 year) Part-time (0.6 EFT 45.6 hours per fortnight)opportunity.
Remuneration begins at $91.6K to $99.6K (Band 6) plus superannuation.
About You
You will be a highly organised and experienced individual to join our team in the Food systems officer role. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in the delivery of community development frameworks coupled with a strong background in customer service community engagement and partnerships. You will possess a high level of collaboration skills working with diverse stakeholders including government and community organisations effective budget management skills and excellent attention to detail.
Our successful candidate will have strong time management skills which will enable you to prioritise effectively and manage competing requests across a range of partnershipsexcellent oral and written communication skills ensuring smooth interactions with staff service stakeholders and the community.
A genuine interest in working within the local government sector is highly desirable.
