Job Summary
Are you someone who thrives on delivering top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment At Truck Centers Inc. were looking for a Service Advisor to be the friendly face of our Service Department. About the Role:
As a Service Advisor youll be the go-to person for our customers whether theyre calling in or visiting in person. Your role will involve listening to their concerns documenting repair requests and conducting initial inspections to ensure our team delivers efficient high-quality service.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 6am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers as they arrive at the Service department.
- Create detailed repair orders and schedule service appointments using our Dealer Management System and digital tools.
- Talk with drivers to understand their concerns perform preliminary inspections and record accurate information for repair orders.
- Verify account details check for recalls review repair histories and confirm warranty coverages.
- Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
- Coordinate towing services and other sublet purchase orders as needed.
- Obtain necessary approvals to initiate repairs and coordinate with the Service Dispatcher for vehicle assessments.
- Offer guidance on dealership amenities and arrange shuttle services for customers waiting on-site.
- Collaborate with the Dispatch team to manage the logistics of vehicle pick-up and delivery.
- Monitor customer feedback and actively seek ways to improve their experience.
- Communicate repair processes and solutions clearly ensuring customers feel confident and informed every step of the way.

Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- Valid Drivers License with ability to meet insurance requirements is required; CDL preferred
- Minimum of 1 year mechanical trucking or dealer service experience; 2 years preferred
- Knowledge of Service department operations trucks and truck parts
- Mechanical aptitude or truck repair experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal communications skills even in times of stress
- Strong organization and time management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and a solution-focused outlook
- Knowledge of computer operations tablets data entry and MS Office with 30wpm typing capability; Procede software experience is a plus
- Candidates with Freightliner dealership experience and/or CIC Level I or II training are strongly encouraged to apply
- Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
