Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort has been completely refurbished unveiling a brand-new upscale dining and bar experience with panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu.
Were looking for a passionate Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our team and deliver premium guest experiences.
About the Venue
- Newly refurbished upscale hotel F&B operation.
- Curated wine cellar of New Zealands finest wines.
- Premium bar with spirits from around the world.
- Seasonal menu by returning legend Chef Gerhard Gerber featuring NZ seafood meats & produce.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily bar operations with a focus on premium guest experiences.
- Support the Bar Manager in training mentoring and motivating the team.
- Oversee stock control beverage ordering and supplier relationships.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of a dynamic cocktail and beverage offering.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing health and safety standards.
- Work closely with the wider F&B team to deliver seamless memorable dining experiences.
Qualifications :
About You
- Previous leadership experience in a high-end bar restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of wines cocktails and premium spirits.
- A passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
- Proven ability to lead inspire and grow a team.
- Organised hands-on and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
