Head of Data Science

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Executive Manager to join the National Data & Analytics team of ALDI Stores based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position.

As the Head of Data Science & Analytics Product Chapter you will lead the development and implementation of strategic data science frameworks that ensures model accuracy data reliability as well as uplift the capabilities ways of working end to end coordination of technical data product development and compliance with regulatory standards across the organisation. You will oversee the continuous evaluation and enhancement of initiatives collaborating with multidisciplinary local and global teams to resolve data model quality product development challenges.

What does the role involve 

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for data science & product chapter initiatives aligning with international direction business objectives and regulatory requirements where required.
• Oversee the design development and deployment of predictive models and advanced analytics to solve complex business problems.
• Mentor develop and inspire team members in data science & analytics product chapter to adopt best practices fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to accelerate data science and product development to support broader organisational objectives.
•  Translate complex data analysis into clear actionable recommendations for both technical and non technical stakeholders

Qualifications :

• Extensive experience in establishing and implementing data science frameworks and strategies within complex organisational environments.
• Extensive leadership experience with a proven ability to inspire and guide teams of varying skill sets delivering scale data science projects to production organisational impact while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages professional growth and collaboration to achieve data science objectives.
• A seasoned leader with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams driving collaboration and aligning stakeholders around data governance objectives.

Remuneration

• Transparent tiered salary range of $223 800 - $255 700 including superannuation.
