Role: Senior System Architect CPQ 
Experience Required : 8 Years

Location: Pune

We are looking for a Senior System Architect for Flamingo who will deliver on key initiatives starting from the ideation phase all the way to development and product delivery.

You Will

• Be an integral member of the team that analyzes designs develops deploys and supports Telekom Deutschlands CPQ (Configure Price Quote) application for the business customer segment.

• Collaborate with Developers Program Managers QA and DevOps Engineers in an agile development environment.

• Take the architectural decision on which components of the Flamingo architecture will be used to implement functional and non-functional requirements:

  • With the help of the administrative web interface of SAP CPQ

  • Through front-end technologies such as JavaScript DHTML and CSS

  • Backend development in Iron Python

  • Implementation of microservices in addition to SAP CPQ

• Define how the implementation of requirements will be realized in compliance with architectural guidelines and decisions.

• Monitor and govern the realization of the requirements by the developers.

• Assist the developers in configuration customization and coding in SAP CPQ.

• Support the development of microservices on the Telekom platform (AWS) e.g. for querying inventories or for automated order decomposition for SAP CPQ to collaborate with partner applications.

You Must Have

• 5 to 7 years of project experience working as a software developer.

• Expert knowledge of Python programming and web development (JavaScript HTML CSS).

• Very good Java know-how in an Openshift/Kubernetes and Spring Boot environment with regard to services implementation.

• Previous experience with the implementation configuration and adaptation of CPQ standard software products preferably SAP CPQ (Callidus).

• Very good understanding of the necessary software capabilities for continuous deployment / continuous integration (CD/CI) in agile software development.

• Have previous experience with agile working methods according to the SAFe framework and mastery of rituals and methods (PIP SCRUM roles PO SM BA etc.).

• Have business know-how regarding sales processes of Telco providers particularly advantageous in the GK/B2B segment.

• Have knowledge of cloud operating models / IT operations.

• Have passive or active German language skills (advantageous).

• Know how to ensure good code quality by implementing governance processes for coding and programming.

• Have hands-on experience in implementing test automation procedures for regressive UI and service testing.
