MADEC is an approved employer under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme an initiative of the Australian Government. This program provides relief to people experiencing poverty and disadvantage from Pacific Island countries and Timor-Leste by providing employment opportunities with Australian employers in selected industries/ also has the dual benefit of providing employers with a reliable return workforce sourced to assist in meeting unmet labour demands when there is not enough local Australian labour to meet seasonal demand.
About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated and people-oriented account manager to oversee our current accounts predominately in the horticulture sector and support further growth and diversification into new industries and sectors. You will reside in the Bairnsdale regions and be familiar with the local area as you will travel to see workers and Host employers throughout the area and surrounds.

To succeed in this role will be a resilient individual who has the ability to develop strong client-focused relationships. You will thrive on nurturing client networks and have the ability to quickly build strong rapport with key stakeholders. You are a problem solver with a focus on client-centered solutions and enjoy supporting workers to ensure they are successful in their employment. Experience in the labour hire industry is also highly regarded; however if you have well established relationship management skills and a desire to achieve results then we want to hear from you.
This position is not your typical 9am - 5pm role so the successful applicant will need to be flexible with their working hours. Some after-hours work will be required.
Drivers Licence and Police Check are a requirement of this role.
