Job Summary
Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Facilities Operations Lead to join our world class industry-leading facility located in Columbia MO.
Facilities Operations Lead responsibilities include:
- Plan organize and direct the functions necessary for maintaining facilities and equipment in an operational and functional condition
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of facility support services including scheduling of emergency routine and preventative maintenance and ensuring the cleanliness of the laboratory research areas and facilities.
- Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program for facilities and equipment
- Communicate effectively and regularly with staff regarding timelines project completion and any issues that may arise and influence staff decisions
- Evaluate and approve any subcontracting and/or vendors
- Develop and maintain documented inventories of equipment and supplies ensuring all equipment/supplies are available and in good working order
- Other duties as required for the effective and efficient operation of the company in general.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or GED and five (5) years applicable experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required. Knowledge of Word and PowerPoint is highly desirable
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
Position is full-time Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia MO are encouraged to apply.
