What Youll Do
As a Tariff & Customs Classification Specialist youll be instrumental in ensuring our products meet international customs and tariff requirements. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and compliance of our supply chain across borders.
- Classify a diverse range of productsfrom raw materials and components to finished goods and spare partsaccording to national and international tariff schedules
- Collaborate with engineering product management and procurement teams to gather technical specifications and documentation for accurate classification
- Engage with colleagues across multiple countries supporting Foreign Trade functions and ensuring consistent compliance across jurisdictions
- Stay informed on evolving customs regulations and classification standards proactively adapting to changes in global trade legislation

Were looking for someone with a sharp analytical mind and a passion for precision. Youll thrive in a collaborative environment and be eager to grow your expertise in international trade.
- Solid experience in trade compliance or product engineering (13 years)
- Proven knowledge of tariff classification principles and practices
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and product documentation
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus)
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP GTS or MIC is advantageous
- Clear communicator with a team-oriented approach
