DESCRIPTION OF OVERALL FUNCTION / PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Job Purpose:QA Technicianis responsible for performance of quality inspections to monitor production compatibility vs. requirements and avoid internal and external NCRs.

DESCRIPTION OF OVERALL FUNCTION / PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Job Purpose:QA Technicianis responsible for performance of quality inspections to monitor production compatibility vs. requirements and avoid internal and external NCRs.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
HSE (Health and Safety) execution:
- Ensure that workers use the specified personal protective equipment for each process.
- Ensure safety compliance of building chemicals etc.
- Inspect and measure product for production - may require the use of metric tapemeasurescalipers and other tools as needed.
- Record inspection information into electronic based inspection system using an Ipad.
- Perform quality inspections of incoming materials as requested.
- Update electronic inspection criteria as needed.
- Update work instructions as needed.
- Assist in training as required and document in training software.
- Assist in tracking POs and ensuring parts are properly identified before shipping.
- Answer customer and internal nonconformances as required.
- Create supplier nonconformances as needed.
- Monthly KPI reporting required.
- Calibrate tools as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read and use a metric tape measure caliper and other tools as needed.
- Must be able to climb steps and ladders.
- Ability to read prints preferred.
- Must have high attention to detail.
- Previous quality experience required.
- Must have excellent eyesight and be able to see color differences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of internal audits is preferred.
- Tool calibration knowledge preferred.
- Ensure Quality Health Safety and Environmental policies are followed.
- Ensure nonconforming product does not escape Jupiter Bach to the customer.
- Quality inspections shall be completed on time and according to the work instruction.
