Role Summary:

As a Solution & Security Consultant at Patsnap youll be the bridge between our product and our buyers by building lightweight demos presenting compelling stories that win trust and translating security choices into plain language. If you love crafting decks running live demos and partnering with sales to close deals this role is for you!

This is a fully remote position for a candidate in Charlotte North Carolina. There will be opportunities to collaborate with colleagues in Charlotte from time to time in person.

What Youll be Doing:

    • Lead discovery calls to capture problems users data sources and success criteria.
    • Build demos and proof-of-concepts (e.g. RAG small agents lightweight automations) and tailor them to the customers workflow.
    • Lead crisp demos and executive-friendly walkthroughs; craft short narratives handle Q&A and land clear value.
    • Maintain client security & trust. Map data flows access patterns and retention; support customer security questionnaires and evidence gathering.
    • Partner with sales by working with Account Executives on win plans next steps and follow-ups; keep notes and dates tight.
    • Produce one-pagers FAQs and simple diagrams others can reuse.
    • Translate customer needs into tickets and coordinate with product/engineering.

About You: (Were hiring for potential and learning velocity - no need to tick every box)

    • 0-4 years of work experience. New grads are welcome.
    • Computer Science degree or equivalent is preferred.
    • Presentation confidence. Youre clear concise and engaging with slides and live demos.
    • AI curiosity. Comfortable discussing embeddings prompting and the idea behind RAG (or eager to learn fast).
    • Technical fundamentals. Familiar with HTTP/JSON APIs Git basics and reading logs; can write (or want to learn) small scripts in Python or JavaScript.
    • Security mindset. Understand security and architecture fundamentals and concepts
    • Strong writing. You can turn complexity into crisp docs.
    • Domain interest. Some understanding of IP/patents is a plus.

Nice to Haves:

    • Hands-on with LangChain/LlamaIndex OpenAI or local LLMs and a vector store (e.g. pgvector).
    • Cloud basics (AWS or similar).
    • Diagramming in Mermaid or
    • Familiarity with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 concepts or the shared responsibility model.
    • Patent/literature search exposure.
    • Customer-facing internships (support tutoring teaching assistant sales/SE).
