This role will play a crucial as part of the Chief Transformation Office working on is our business-led tech-enabled transformation and a key priority for the Group. Create your best future and join Westpac on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract as a Senior Technical Analyst within our Chief Transformation Office youll help deliver innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyse and document requirements.
- Break down large ambiguous problems into smaller well-defined tasksor use cases.
- Create process flows user stories functional specifications and other artifacts.
- Translate business needs into logical structured and actionable requirements.
- Work closely with developers testers and UX/UI teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Facilitate workshops interviews and brainstorming sessions to uncover root causes.
- Perform gap analysis impact assessments and data analysis as needed.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and validating deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
What do I need
- Hands on experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skills able to approach problems methodically.
- Excellent communication skills able to explain complex ideas simply.
- Experience in writing clear structured documentation(e.g. user stories use cases BRDs).
- Comfortable with process mappingtools (e.g. Gliffy Visio).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
