About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to provide advanced advice and support across the People & Culture function balancing day-to-day HR advisory work with managing complex employee relations matters.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Providing practical people-focused advice to managers on performance conduct and development
- Leading and managing complex ER matters including workplace investigations conciliations and conferences
- Advising on compliance with internal policies industrial instruments and legislation
- Coaching and mentoring HR Advisors and HR Administration staff
- Managing disciplinary processes dispute resolution and enterprise agreement consultations
- Leading People & Culture projects including policy reviews leadership training and ER framework development
- Supporting continuous improvement across HR advisory and ER processes
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 6 years experience in HR/ER roles within a large fast-paced environment
- Bachelors degree in HR Employment Relations Law or a related field
- Proven track record in handling conciliations grievances investigations and terminations
- Strong advisory skills with a solutions-focused people-first approach
You will also have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong influencing ability
- High resilience discretion and ability to manage sensitive matters effectively
- The capability to balance empathy with accountability in decision-making
- Full working rights and the ability forad hoc travel within Australia (2-3 times per year)
