We are now looking for a Legal Counsel that wants to join our fantastic Legal Team in Lund and contribute to our successful journey forward!

Who is your future team
The Legal Team consists of experienced legal advisors with a deep understanding of Axis business. We work as an integral part of the daily business in close collaboration with our stakeholders. We support the Axis Group globally. Currently the team includes legal counsels senior legal counsels legal compliance specialists and a corporate governance specialist. Our goal is to support Axis sustainable and successful growth through tailor-made and strategical advice. Currently we are 15 driven and professional team members all looking forward to meeting you!

What you will do here:
As Legal Counsel you will work both independently and in collaboration with your team members contract managers as well as other colleagues within the Axis Group. The job will offer you a wide and global network and a variety of challenging work tasks on a cross-functional basis. This position requires a high degree of accountability motivation and drive and the ability to develop relationships of trust and confidence both within and outside of Axis. Your main responsibility will be to support the business with legal advice in a wide range of matters related to corporate commercial law including international sales distribution and license agreements as well as finance. You will report to the Senior Legal Manager Sales & Finance at HQ in Lund.

Your work tasks will include:

• Working proactively to assess and manage legal risks and provide advice to business stakeholders and contract managers.
• Drafting reviewing negotiating and providing advice on various commercial contracts and documents such as distribution agreements licensing agreements lease agreements intra-group agreements NDAs and collaboration agreements.
• To be part of the creation and communication of internal legal education and trainings.
• Drafting implementing and engaging in continuous work with template agreements and other steering documents promoted by the Legal Department.

Who are you
We believe that you are a highly skilled driven analytical structured efficient and business oriented person that has a strong interest in corporate commercial law and thrives in an international environment. You can prioritize your work tasks and communicate complex legal assessments and advice in a clear and simple way. As a person you are motivated by working in a high-pace and rapidly moving global organization. You are used to working independently and making decisions.

You need to have:

• A law degree (LL.M) from a Swedish University or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years experience working as in-house legal counsel or at a law firm;
• Good knowledge of and experience from working with corporate commercial law related matters;
• Strong analytical skills and a strong team-oriented approach; and
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.
