Job Summary
Position Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes identify areas for improvement and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that support operational efficiency and strategic growth.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather document and analyze business requirements
- Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Develop and maintain business process models workflows and documentation
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning
- Prepare reports dashboards and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Support project management activities including timelines deliverables and stakeholder communication
- Facilitate workshops meetings and interviews to elicit requirements and feedback
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems or a related field-and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 35 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (e.g. Excel SQL Power BI Python AI/Machine Learning tools)
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills in English
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities deadlines and stakeholder expectations
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP CCBA PMI-PBA or equivalent) considered an asset
