Job Summary
Schedule: Evenings and Overnights
Starting Salary: $47K-50K typically
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Supervising the operation of casino cashier personnel during an assigned shift.
- Verifying funds of assigned cashiers and performing all related duties during that shift.
- Maintaining responsibility for all transactions within assigned cashier offices.
- Issues and collects critical sensitive and sensitive keys to employees.
- Directly monitoring coaching and counseling cashiers as necessary.
- Schedules personnel on an assigned shift for duties.
- Performs all duties of the shift manager in their absence.
- Handling all customer disputes and questions and acting as source of information to all customer inquiries.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to all gaming regulations and other governmental agencies as applicable.
- Adhering to regulatory departmental and company policies along with working with other cashiers and supervisors.
- Maintaining internal controls through immediate reports concerning shortages errors or discrepancies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be 18 years of age.
Minimum six months to a year cash handling experience required within high volume industries.
Two years previous supervisory experience required.
Possess strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Must have excellent customer service/communication and written skills.
Knowledgeable in data entry read and interpret output from a computer.
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift including holidays and weekends.
Must pass background check urinalysis drug test and MO Gaming License Process.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work with a team mentality.
- Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
- Must have the dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips 10 key adding machine money bags computers money etc.).
- Must be able to bend twist turn push and pull as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
- Must be able to maneuver around office areas effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
