The Onboarding Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of assigned customer onboarding projects initiatives and business unit-specific programs. This role focuses on assisting in the management and delivery of projects through to completion for both internal and external customers. The coordinator acts as a primary point of contact for projects assisting in taking projects from kickoff through final implementation. Coordination with various departments such as Credit Regulatory Pricing and Sales is required. The role also involves planning and directing schedules supporting all aspects of the project and providing input to direct the analysis and solution to problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting project meetings and supporting project deliverables monitoring the project from initiation through delivery and interfacing with stakeholders on all matters.

  • Aid in developing detailed work plans schedules and status reports documenting processes in current and future states. Gather technical and process requirements for projects and work with business and technical teams to support execution.

  • Analyze project data and track/report on project status for leaders and stakeholders.

  • Assess project risks and issues helping to develop resolutions to meet timeline goals and project objectives. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

  • Assist in meeting or exceeding defined implementation goals timelines and NPS that directly influence the departments achievement of targeted customer satisfaction goals.

  • Aid in developing and executing implementation strategies to ensure successful relationships are developed for effective handoff of stable and long-term relationships to the field sales teams.

  • Gain cooperation of others and help conduct executive presentations of technical/process information concerning specific projects/schedules etc.

  • Conduct check-in meetings for workstream progress and completeness of implementation goals and objectives evaluating/escalating issues or concerns prior to due dates.

  • Support the development of internal/external partnerships to enhance responsiveness to customers needs ensuring internal/external customer understanding and developing and leading cross-functional process improvement teams.

  • Champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent with typically 2 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in sales/customer service or project management within a healthcare or similar business.

  • Thorough knowledge of sales group purchasing organizations government institutional and long-term care entities with demonstrated teamwork skills.

  • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Position may require some overnight business trips during the year with an anticipated travel requirement of up to 10-25%.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
