Position Overview:

The Product Integration Engineer is responsible for providing technical support as an active member of the new product development program position will based in Fond du Lac WI OR Saint Cloud FL area with approximately 20-30% travel to customers dealers and events.

Essential Functions:

New Product Development Programs:

  • Core team member for New Product Development Teams as assigned providing data-based input to the project(s) to ensure a successful launch.

  • Will act as the voice of the Product Integration team using VOC based methods to represent Mercury and OEM expectations for target installations and customer usage.

  • Communicate the impact of the program to OEMs specific to installation/configuration/system.

  • Responsible for completing integration project deliverables as outlined in Mercurys product development processes.

  • Provide detailed information regarding new product changes for incorporation into ACTION Presentations.

  • Leverage data analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions.

  • Assist Product Application Engineers with the integration of marine propulsion systems including new product updates training and general installation support.

  • Support product launches in preparation on partner vessels and event support such that our new product is optimized at the time of release

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • 5 years of related experience

  • Knowledge of marine engine propulsion systems and electronic controls

  • Knowledge of marine industry and basic vessel design

  • Able and willing to perform in vessel testing and setup along with trouble shooting and repairs

  • Basic Project Management Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Relevant Marine Industry or engine OEM experience

  • USCG Captains License

  • 6-Sigma Greenbelt Certified

  • ProEngineer/CREO solid modeling experience

The anticipated pay range for this position is $84500 - $136100 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic addition to base pay this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
