Were looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Manager of Product Design Growth to lead a team of designers focused on driving adoption retention and expansion of Zapier through product-led growth.
This role sits at the intersection of design experimentation and business outcomes. Youll partner closely with product managers engineers marketers and data to design experiences that reduce customer friction accelerate time-to-value and scale durable growth. If you thrive on turning design into measurable impact from first AI workflow success to multi-user expansion this role is for you.
About You
Growth-obsessed leader: You thrive in fast-paced environments where experimentation and iteration are the norm. You understand how growth loops work and how design decisions can influence adoption retention and expansion at every stage of the funnel.
Outcome-oriented. You anchor design decisions in metrics that matter activation retention expansion and know how to balance rapid experimentation with long-term impact.
Experimentation champion: Youre systematic about hypothesis formation test design and result interpretation. You know when to ship fast and when to invest in polish.
Bold strategic thinker. You can define multi-quarter design strategy and vision while sequencing fast iterations that de-risk big bets. You balance ambitious ideas with disciplined follow-through.
Collaborative partner: You excel at working cross-functionally with growth product managers engineers marketers and data analysts to achieve shared goals.
AI-fluent in design. You embrace AI to accelerate design from rapidly prototyping flows to testing growth ideas faster with AI-assisted creative to analyzing user behavior and uncovering opportunities.
Team builder. You develop talent set high standards and foster a culture of experimentation learning and user-centered craft.
What Youll Do
Lead and develop the growth design team: Set clear goals define success metrics and coach designers through regular feedback. Partner with cross-functional leaders to align design strategy with business growth objectives.
Design for the funnel: Shape experiences that reduce friction and improve conversion across the user journey from onboarding to retention to expansion.
Growth experimentation & optimization: Partner with your designers Growth PMs and data to run experiments codify insights and scale learnings into durable growth plays.
Champion user-centered metrics. Use qualitative and quantitative data to identify friction points validate design decisions and demonstrate business impact.
Advance AI-enabled design practices. Leverage AI to speed up design exploration test hypotheses and identify customer opportunities.
Shape growth culture. Establish design best practices for experimentation foster a mindset of rapid learning and ensure growth design is aligned with Zapiers product-led growth strategy.
