Your role and responsibilities
Based in Ipswich this challenging and varied role allows you to take responsibility for your area supporting School Crossing Patrols in the south of the county; from Hadleigh to Felixstowe in the east and to Woodbridge in the north of the area but mainly focussing on the Ipswich area.

The Team
Our wider team includes specialist officers with responsibility for road safety education and training transport planning behavioural change and the school crossing patrol service. The team works with internal partners across Suffolk County Council including Public Health and external organisations as part of the Suffolk Roadsafe Partnership.
The School Crossing Patrol team are a small friendly and supportive team who are committed to improving road safety and active travel across the county.
