Industrials Investment Banking Coverage
This position is a 1st or 2nd Year Analyst role to join our Industrials Investment Banking coverage Industrials team advises on complex financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions equity and debt financings joint ventures and financial investments. Key sub-sectors include Aerospace & Defense Capital Goods Chemicals Forest Products & Packaging Industrial Services Metals and Transportation & Logistics.
In this role you will:
Help orchestrate strategic advisory and capital raising transactions. Associates assume significant responsibility that includes:
Managing and developing client coverage materials
Building financial models and supporting various financial analyses including valuations and merger consequences
Performing comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
Preparing presentations and other materials and memos for clients and internal committees
Developing training and supporting Analysts and contributing to the overall growth and success of the team
Collaborating and consulting with peers colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Participating in client meetings due diligence visits and other client interactions during which they gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
Required Qualifications:
6 months of Investment Banking Program experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with coursework in financial accounting and corporate finance or an MBA
2 years of relevant investment banking experience
Strong financial modeling skills
Strong organizational multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively in a demanding highly focused deadline driven fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10%
Ability to work outside of regular business hours
This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to accordance with FINRA rules individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
Salary is just one component of Wells Fargos total rewards package. Depending on the role a Wells Fargos employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation such as sales incentives discretionary bonuses and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
