Job Summary

We are seekinga Information System Security Manager (ISSM) IIIto join our team. You will play a key part in ATGs technical support for Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) specializing in cybersecurity support validation support IT and cyber policy writing and program implementation support. Our team will provide direct support cybersecurity policy A&A artifactsvalidationand security posture reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Support IT security goals andobjectivesand reduce overall organizational risk.

• Assistwith the collection of data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting.

• Communicate the value of IT security throughout all levels of the organization stakeholders.

• Assistwith security improvement actions as they are evaluatedvalidated and implemented.

• Assistwith cybersecurity inspections tests and reviews for the network environment.

• Assistwithidentifyingalternative information security strategies to address organizational securityobjective.

• Assistwith interpretation of patterns of noncompliance todeterminetheir impact on levels of risk and/or overall effectiveness of the enterprises cybersecurity program.

• Participate in an information security risk assessment during the Security A&A process.

• Assistwith the tracking of audit findings and recommendations to ensure thatappropriate mitigationactions are taken.

• Assistwiththe identifyingsecurity requirements specific to an IT system in all phases of the system life cycle.

• Assistwith the successful implementation and functionality of security requirements andappropriate ITpolicies and procedures that are consistent with the organizations mission and goals.

• Assistprograms to resolve findingsidentifiedduring internal and external review processes.

• Assist with Quality Assurance (QA) reviews for RMF package submissionsin accordance withNSWCPD and NAVSEA 03 SOP.

• Develop findings reports andrecommendedcorrective actions foridentifieddeficiencies.

• Coordinate with programs to resolve findingsidentifiedduring internal and external review processes.

• Report system compliance in DON Application and Database Management System (DADMS) Department of Defense Information Technology Portfolio Repository Department of the Navy (DITPR-DON) and VRAM.

• Assistwith facilitating communication between all RMF stakeholders throughout the RMF process.

• Assistwith monitoring systems for upcoming authorization conditions/stipulations upcoming or past due POA&M items and SLCM activities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Secret Clearance Level

• Masters degree in computer science information technology communications systems management or equivalent STEM degree from an accredited college/university
• Eight (8) years of experience coordinating with various levels of an organization to oversee and manage information security program implementation within the organization or other area of responsibility. Must have managed cyber strategy personnel infrastructure policy enforcement emergency planning security awareness and/or other resources
• IAM-II level certifications - CAP CASP CE CISM CISSP (or Associate) GSLC CCISO HCISPP
