Purpose of the Job

To support financial planning reporting and performance analysis for the UK & Ireland business while assisting in selected M&A and investment projects when required.
The role plays a key part in improving financial visibility and supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial modelling analysis and reporting.

Job requirements

Principal Accountabilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (Main Focus)

Support the preparation of the annual budget quarterly forecasts and monthly management reports.
Build and maintain detailed financial models to monitor business performance and key metrics.
Analyse variances between actual budget and forecast highlighting risks and opportunities.
Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
Prepare monthly P&L reviews cash flow analysis and management dashboards.
Collaborate with business units to track performance against targets and support improvement plans.
Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and the Board.
Ensure alignment with Group Finance reporting requirements and timelines.

M&A Support (Secondary Focus)

Support the financial assessment of potential acquisitions or partnerships in the UK & Ireland.
Assist with the preparation and review of financial models for target companies.
Participate in due diligence coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Contribute to post-acquisition performance tracking and integration support.
