Job Summary

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong expertise in and NestJS to join our team. The ideal candidate is not measured by years of experience but by skills problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a product-oriented environment. You will be responsible for building scalable REST APIs integrating with databases and third-party services and optimizing automation workflows.

Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain backend services using and NestJS.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs for client-facing and internal applications.

Work with PostgreSQL to design and manage efficient database structures.

Utilize Docker to create containerized environments for seamless deployments.

Develop internal tools and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with frontend engineers product managers and other teams to deliver high-quality products.

Ensure security best practices and performance optimizations across services.

Integrate third-party APIs and services including HT (Human Resources & Payroll Systems) and salary calculation services (a plus).

Debug and optimize backend services for scalability and performance.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in and NestJS.

Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience working with PostgreSQL (database design queries optimization).

Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization methods (JWT OAuth etc.).

Familiarity with automated workflows and task scheduling.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with HT systems (HR payroll and salary calculations).

Experience working in product-based companies with a focus on scalability.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
