Key Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver creative and engaging Year 2 lessons across the curriculum
• Support pupils literacy numeracy and personal development fostering independence and confidence
• Create a positive inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
• Assess and monitor pupil progress providing feedback and setting learning targets
• Collaborate with colleagues and teaching assistants to maintain high-quality provision
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing
• Participate in school events extracurricular activities and professional development

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 ideally Year 2
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment

• Commitment to inclusion high standards and pupil success
