Your role
As Finance Manager you will be key to Cambriums success by ensuring financial excellence for multiple entities across operations compliance and commercial initiatives. Youll work closely with our Chief of Staff and cross-functional teams to bring clarity discipline and structure into a growing environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Own day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable accounts receivable and bookkeeping
- Drive monthly quarterly and annual financial statements including reconciling inter-company transactions for our German and French entity
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax and regulatory requirements
- Communicate with external accountants and tax advisors on tight deadlines
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the budget and forecasting process across teams and entities
- Monitor key KPIs and financial metrics and deliver actionable recommendations
Fundraising & Investor Reporting
- Support non-dilutive funding reporting and applications (grants loans) and financing rounds
- Help prepare investor reporting materials such as monthly updates and board presentations
Your profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in a finance function experience in a startup or scale-up is a plus
- Degree in Finance Accounting or related field Masters or MBA is a plus
- Excellent Excel skills and experience with startup relevant accounting systems e.g. Moss/Spendesk Datev
- You stay structured and detail-oriented even in a fast-paced startup environment where you need to be hands on
- Ability to communicate financial and regulatory matters clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
