Job Summary

MRI Technologist (Day Shift)

Location: Panama City FL 32401
Shift: Variable 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and radiographic procedures with precision and care.
Operate MRI equipment and accessories safely and efficiently.
Maintain appropriate patient care safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper documentation.
Upload and organize imaging in the PACS system.
Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols for head neck spine MSK and body studies.
Comply with all regulatory guidelines and hospital policies including radiation safety standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required.
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts to include head neck body MSK spine and MRI imaging.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required.
3 years of MRI experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure:

FL State Registered Radiologic Technologist License REQUIRED
ARRT (R) & (MR) REQUIRED
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) REQUIRED
