Position: Software Engineer II

Location: Bangalore

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Leads small to moderate budget projects; may perform in project leadership role and/or may supervise the activities of lower level personnel
Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems
Executes schedules costs and documentation to ensure assigned projects come to successful conclusion
May assist in training assigning and checking the work of less experienced developers
Performs estimation efforts on projects and tracks progress
Drafts and revises test plans and scripts with consideration to end-to-end system flows
Executes test scripts according to application requirements documentation
Logs defects identifies course of action and performs preliminary root cause analysis
Analyzes and communicates test results to project team
Coordinates multiple testers and testing activities within a project
May act as a project test lead and provide direction to lower level testers
Retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved
Documents evolution of testing procedures for future replication
Identifies recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies

Essential Requirements:

3 years of total software/IT engineering/code development experience. Out of this at least 8 technical program management experience
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of application programming processes and procedures to the completion of complex assignments
Competent to analyze diverse and complex problems
Competent to work in most phases of applications programming
Knowledge includes advanced work on standard applications programs including coding testing and debugging

Desirable Requirements:

Advanced ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors
Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs
Demonstrates advanced understanding of intersystem dependencies around primary applications and multiple secondary applications
Ability to rapidly assimilate new information and develop diverse knowledge of system being tested
Working knowledge of automated testing tools and procedures
Diverse diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of multiple applications

Mandatory Skills:

3 years of experience as developer (Backend-70 Frontend-30%) along with hands-on REST APIs microservice CI/CD SQL MongoDB Web development and Agile skills
Previous experience working with e-commerce software or Enterprise Applications or Payment gateway is MUST.

Mandatory Experience

Primary Technology / Tool: .Net Framework/ .Net Core / C# (3 years)
Test Driven development
CI/CD
Green/Blue deployment method
REST Architecture SOAP MVC
SQL (MS SQL Server) and NoSQL Databases (Cassandra DB MongoDB )
Experience working in building e-commerce software or Enterprise Applications

Additional Must-Haves Experiences:

Developing coding and unit testing in Web Application development UX & Backend services (3 years)
Working in Agile Methodologies (3 years)

Additional Nice to Have Experiences:

Experience in RabbitMQ (or any records management tool)
Experience in Global Programs and Distributed teams
Pivotal Cloud FoundryRelevant Experience required
