Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java API Microservices Lead to join our technology team in Charlotte NC. In this role you will lead the design development and deployment of scalable microservices-based applications and APIs using modern Java frameworks. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that are secure high-performing and cloud-ready.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8 years of professional Java development experience.
Strong expertise in Java 8 Spring Boot Spring Cloud and RESTful API development.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and domain-driven design (DDD).
Experience with API gateways service mesh and OAuth2/OpenID Connect.
Strong knowledge of message brokers (Kafka RabbitMQ) and asynchronous processing.
Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MongoDB etc.).
Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA Git Jenkins and Docker.
Strong understanding of unit testing integration testing and TDD/BDD.
Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
