LOCATION: Lagos
Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist is responsible for managing the complete talent acquisition process and implementing comprehensive Learning and Development (L&D) programs. Ensures the organization attracts hires and develops top talent while building internal capabilities through structured training initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process from job requisition to onboarding
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business needs
- Source candidates through various channels including job portals networking and referrals
- Conduct initial screening interviews and candidate assessments
- Maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Design and implement comprehensive L&D programs for employee development
- Assess training needs through performance reviews skill gap analysis and business requirements
- Coordinate internal and external training programs and workshops
- Manage training budgets and vendor relationships
- Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI of L&D initiatives
- Design and implement leadership development programs
- Create succession planning frameworks and talent pipeline strategies
- Manage mentorship and coaching programs within the organization
- Coordinate professional development opportunities for employees
- Track and report on employee development progress and career advancement
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 46 years experience in recruitment talent management and learning & development.
- Professional certification such as CIPM SHRM or CIPD is an added advantage.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Experience designing and implementing employee training and development programs
- Understanding of succession planning career development frameworks and leadership programs.
- Ability to measure and report on L&D effectiveness and ROI.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
