Job Summary

Our client is a leading group of companies in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a TALENT ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST.

LOCATION: Lagos

Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist is responsible for managing the complete talent acquisition process and implementing comprehensive Learning and Development (L&D) programs. Ensures the organization attracts hires and develops top talent while building internal capabilities through structured training initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process from job requisition to onboarding
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business needs
  • Source candidates through various channels including job portals networking and referrals
  • Conduct initial screening interviews and candidate assessments
  • Maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Design and implement comprehensive L&D programs for employee development
  • Assess training needs through performance reviews skill gap analysis and business requirements
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs and workshops
  • Manage training budgets and vendor relationships
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI of L&D initiatives
  • Design and implement leadership development programs
  • Create succession planning frameworks and talent pipeline strategies
  • Manage mentorship and coaching programs within the organization
  • Coordinate professional development opportunities for employees
  • Track and report on employee development progress and career advancement
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 46 years experience in recruitment talent management and learning & development.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM SHRM or CIPD is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Experience designing and implementing employee training and development programs
  • Understanding of succession planning career development frameworks and leadership programs.
  • Ability to measure and report on L&D effectiveness and ROI.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
