Job Summary
Job Title: Commercetools Front-End Developer Experience: 6 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Front-End Developer with strong hands-on experience in Commercetools and modern JavaScript frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable high-performing front-end solutions for eCommerce platforms using Commercetools React (or Vue/) and related technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design develop and implement responsive front-end components and user interfaces integrated with Commercetools APIs. Work closely with backend UX/UI and product teams to deliver seamless eCommerce experiences. Build reusable code components and libraries for future use. Optimize application performance scalability and maintainability. Integrate with third-party systems and APIs as required (e.g. payment gateways CMS analytics). Translate wireframes mockups and design specs into pixel-perfect interactive user interfaces. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across various browsers and devices. Stay updated with emerging front-end and Commercetools ecosystem trends and technologies. Required Skills and Experience: 6 years of hands-on experience in front-end development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and modern UI frameworks ( or ). Solid working knowledge of Commercetools including API integration custom front-end implementations and headless commerce architecture. Experience with GraphQL or RESTful API integration. Familiarity with for front-end build processes. Knowledge of state management tools such as Redux Zustand or Context API. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines Git and agile development environments. Strong understanding of responsive design cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good to Have: Experience with Composable Commerce architecture. Familiarity with Contentful Storyblok or similar headless CMS tools. Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure). Knowledge of eCommerce performance optimization and SEO best practices. Experience with testing frameworks (Jest Cypress React Testing Library).
