We are Hiring Clinical Nurse Specialist - Urology for our Hospital client in Dublin. Permanent Contract
Key Responsibilities- Provide continuity of care to improve the quality of life for patients.
- Assist the urology consultant and manage caseload.
- Provide continuity of care to improve quality of life for patients with acute/chronic urological conditions.
- Facilitate relevant patient care by liaising with the multidisciplinary team and guiding best practices.
- The specialist nurse provides support and education for patients and their families.
- Co-ordinate and manage the care given to urology patients both as inpatients and outpatients.
- Lead in the organization of continuing nursing education by participating in teaching guidance and assessment of staff.
- Adhere to hand hygiene and infection prevention measures as indicated in hospital policies procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
Registered on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) essential.
Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting essential.
Experience in Urology nursing or a related specialty desirable.
Relevant Higher Diploma or equivalent postgraduate qualification desirable.
Demonstrated clinical competence and professional integrity in nursing practice.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organisational abilities ensuring structure efficiency and continuity of patient care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
